#2 Raging Addiction

if you weren’t aware by now, this blog primarily deals with ways you could get killed, that are dumb and is/was a part of my life at some point.

The Raging Addiction era bloomed during the covid 19 stay at home time. As most of y’all could’ve been in similar situations too, primarily due to all the free and needless days that kept stretching onto infinity and beyond. I was in a particularly bad state due to several other reasons that I am currently unable to specify here. Especially, the sudden lack of human contact being one of the major reasons.

The only solace I had was my phone, I became a crippling addict you could say. Average screen time ranged between 10-15 and sometimes even 18 hours (A days is 24 hours, if you aren’t aware.). I unknowingly might have destroyed more than half of my brain cells to radiation. What a time !

My only way to pass time was You-tube, some games and several series. Youtube and several video format of entertainment during the day and by night I’d be gaming. PUBG was the go-to game during that time. The ‘”Clan” becomes active during the night, that’s what they used to say. We’d start at around 10 PM and would still not be over at 6 AM. After all the team mates were wasted, I’d still be up “practicing” to get better at the f-ing game. Sucks to be me, I know.

The main goal was to leave my crippling boredom behind along with some added anxiety and depression. There was also monetary goals in mind. Several of my peers were making money from the game. Idiots were coming onto the game due to some random people getting success from the game. It was the rise of the E-sport teams all around us, lol, that too in mobile.

Now when I look back, oddly, I don’t regret any of it. It may have been one of the reasons that kept me alive during those times and I’ve met some great people online, who I am still in contact with to this day.
